Meet OUR Team

Before starting this business, I spent 30 years serving in ministry and administration at Faith Academy and Life Church in Mobile, Alabama. Those seasons shaped the way I approach work today—with a strong focus on service, integrity, and doing things the right way.

Shalla and I were high school sweethearts who have truly loved doing life together. A little over a year ago, we relocated to Lee County, Alabama and quickly grew to love the Opelika community we now call home. In this season of life, we find real joy in serving our neighbors and investing in the community we’ve grown to love.

Faith and family are central to who we are. We have three children—Jonathan (Katie), Will (Hannah), and Mady (Chip)—and six amazing grandchildren. Our grands call us “Pots and LaLa,” and we love spending time together as a family (and fully admit we enjoy spoiling them).

We believe honest work, clear communication, and taking care of people matter most. Our goal with The MulchMaster is simple: serve our neighbors well, work with excellence, and leave every property better than we found it.
